Hi, My name is...

Whenever we meet somebody either we introduce ourselves our someone who does it. We tend to make one description or two to establish the connection between parties. It might be your relationship with the person or his occupation or the background where he came from. The purpose is to have an idea of who this person is. At the beginning of Paul's letters his introductions give us a clue of the content of the entire letter. One of his letters is Romans. He didn't plant the church there nor he hadn't met anyone of them yet. His letter is his first communication with them. His identity stated in Romans 1:1 is beneficial for us to understand as we walk in maturity in Christ. "Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God"  - Romans 1:1 (ESV) Servant of Christ Jesus.
