After my life as an ENLI student

After I graduated in ENLI I started to think if I would read 4 chapters a day. Last Saturday it's a new Saturday because for 2 consecutive years I (as an ENLI student) need to wake up early to go to my ENLI class(though I was always 20 minutes late). Ahh... I felt the freedom, every Saturday and every day. There are no worries to worry about, reading the bible 4 chapters a day, do some research/study stuff depending on our week's topic, uhmm?!? make assignments, and share the gospel. Woah!
I knew that I would be more effective minister and a great leader. I felt so proud and so high that I've graduated in ENLI on my own. I've said to myself there is no need to read and read leadership and spiritual books, there is no need to run through the old testament stuff and read Psalms 23 (just to have 1 count). I'm free!!. I smell the cool breeze of freedom!. I have the certificate, the pictures and the attendance in ENLI. I'm great!! I'm a great leader and a great man. Imagine for a 1st year college student who's active in school and also an award-winning athlete was able accomplished the 2-year bible-based-leadership program. Woah!

A sense of pride arose within me..

Until..

On the following day of our graduation we had our party at Army Golf club with Pastor Pao and Mam Mayet with her niece. Before Pastor Pao leave he was ask by our Mr. President General to speak some words of inspiration and encouragement to all of us. He told us that he had a talk with Kevin Conner and he said that "The more I know, the less I know".

The more we get to know the word, the more we realize that we don't know everything. There is so much more to know. It is just always the beginning. Every time you read God's word you will see a greater picture that you need to read more and more. No matter how many times you finish reading the Bible, no matter how many leadership or spiritual books you've finish, you are just like a dot in a very big white paper.

ENLI is not just about attending weekly classes and reading 4 chapters a day.
Being a Christian and a son of God it's not just about praying and reading the Bible everyday.
Being a leader is not just about doing small groups and helping in the ministry.

It is more to life.
It is more than that.
It is a never ending process.
There is no end. Every day you should have a childlike attitude. Like a mountain climber, always think that your at the bottom of the mountain so that you will always have the eagerness to go up, you won't stop until you reach the top. Don't ever ever think that you're great, don't always look at your accomplishments and your success. Being so proud will cause you to get down.

Graduating in ENLI is just the beginning of the new chapter in my(your) life.
Adventures, journeys, riddles, challenges awaits..
