Stretching Season
Small group adventure 2009
Prologue:
"Dadaan pa tayo dito sa market" said Drew. "Huh? Bakit naman. Ahh.. sa church nila Vincent" said Axel. Iggy started to speak "Ah. dirediretso lang dito". Drew chinesely spoke "Vincent, niloloko mo naman kame eh hindi naman church to' eh, mall to eh". Vincent replied back "Wahahaha! hindi no! tignan niyo gusto niyo pa nga sabay sabay tayo eh..". Upon reaching the ENLI building Vincent was dropped of by his Squadra teammates. Greetings heard by Vincent as he walked towards the church crowd. Vincent said hi to them, talked seriously to his small group, checked with the organizers, and logged-in to his parents. Starting before the night dominated the sky until 8:30 the organizers prepared the stuffed needed for the adventure. On the other hand Vincent's parents bought the foods needed by their son. Quarter to 9 when Vincent was on his way going home he approached Buboy and Piel to join the ride. Upon reaching home, Vincent found himself having a conversation with his uncle infront of Buboy and Piel in his uncle's crib. After the small talk, Vincent off he went, and fell down into the bed.

Day 1: The First Strike.
I woke up 5:30 in the morning, and just packed my bags. Tor and Piel, were waiting for me outside. After I took my breakfast and checked my stuffs, we rode and went off. As I stepped the ENLI ground I saw my small group members, checked their stuffs out, and briefed them. Girls checked-in first while the boys were putting the baggages in the bus. Nestor's platoon were in the van and Kuya Miko with the tech guys *I think* were in the other vehicle. When Tones gave the signal, Lt. Colonel prayed and the bus driver followed uncle. The journey started with the boys jamming in the back and the rest had their own agendas from middle to front.
Upon reaching the place, everybody was excited and having fun. We exited the bus, downloaded our stuffs and temporarily put them infront of the reception base. After all of the downloads, we carried our necessities, took a 30-40m walk with a lesser speed than usual and a 35-50 levels of stairs going down with a decrease in momentum.
So we dropped the packs of to the soon-to-be tabernacle ground and chose our own spaces. From the soon-to-be tabernacle ground the downward inclined plane was about 35-50m to the gates of the PrincessDomain, that was 20-30m long. Beside the PrincessDomain was the central spot measured about 50-60m wide and 30-40m long. At the north of the central spot, the Warrior's Castle was located. It was a 50-60m wide and 20-30m long. For my small group I nominated the most far-flung area from the central spot to be our place and so they voted for it. Tones gathered the campers in the soon-to-be tabernacle, and with the organizers they oriented them. The facilitators semi-circled them in the central spot, dividing them into 4 platoons headed by chosen team commandants. My team set-up our one and only tower, and formed the barricades(bags, clothes, foods, utensils) to serve as the frontliner of the base. Next to us were the 4 towers of Nestor closely knit together with a successful mini-bonfire after n times. Few minutes passed by, I called my small group for lunch, feeded them in the dirty kitchen(that's 30-40m beside the soon-to-be tabernacle spot), washed our utensils and went back to our tower. Forwarding the story Tones summoned the team to prepare for the land games. As they prepare, the 4 platoons were given a task to make their own presentations up to the higher level near the reception base. After the setting the land games, Tones summoned the platoons, the game master gave the mechanics and the game started. During the game I noticed the slow darkening of the clouds but the observation was flushed out by the competitive noises of the campers. It all went clear until, *BOOM* hundreds, thousands of big droplets from sky moderately coming into the scenario and that's where the real adventure starts.
From my station I left my cellphone and score sheets to the nearest tower (Tonie's) and rushed to our tower to put our barricades inside. Many warriors and few princesses excitedly dashed down to a zigzag, very inclined, long road(it's like from ENLI to Boni-Hi) that vary in levels, and reached the pool area. I and Tor, followed through, several minutes passed as we were going down and down, we started to shiver and feel the cold ambiance of the area. In the pool area, the 1st batch were enjoying the cool breeze of the mountains and the luke-warm pool. While the others like Tor and I, were just standing and watching them on the chairs and the tables. Kuya Mico, Tones, Commander, Lt. Colonel and the princesses entered the act and some of them went to the pool even those who had a fever at that time(Not mentioning the care-giver awardee which will be tackle maybe later on the story). Tor and my attention was caught by the GrandDukeFog on the far mountain side. He quietly summoned his disciples and couzin Storm to break the feast. He even penetrated Kuya Mico's plan and let him decide the 6pm cut-off time to be change into last 30 minutes. When Storm released his 76.55% - 87.??% the temperature and the population lowered, and the abilities of the campers were bubbling out one by one. Tor, I, and some of the warriors, were the last ones who left the place. During the way going up, unknowingly the PresidentBoss silently was preparing his first critical attack. At the entrance of Warrior's Castle, Zack dashed towards to Tonie's tower and left Ayden and the others, then about few meters away from the tower he fell down shivering in cold. Back to my perspective, I continually felt the extreme coldness to the next level but I fought them and killed enough of them. Enough for me to reach the newly build tabernacle where Storm can't dominate only the Coldness can. Coldness, I think was the partner of Storm and bestfriend of the GrandDukeFog. All of them for sure were the bosses sent by the PresidentBoss who were trying to destroy the goal and the purpose of the said adventure. Zack was shivering in cold, and the fighting kept getting stronger up to the point he was checked-in to the tech's room made into an intensive care room headed by nurse Tina. Kuya Mico used one of his favorite power to attack the PresidentBoss, and ofcourse he won together with the team. Unsatisfied the PresidentBoss fired again. One of Tor's platoon urgently told me Piel(my cousin) was shivering in cold and not feeling well. Piel ended up joining Zack in the intensive care room. But that was only the beginning of the evil mission of PresidentBoss.
After the Round 1 ended approximately at 7pm and Round 2 was ongoing, I was commanded by Kuya Miko of a series of instructions including putting the packs on the Keep and that's beside the reception base, and so I did with the help of my small group. A problem came, we didn't have hot water for our noodles. Several times I went back and forth from the Keep, dirty kitchen, intensive care room, and to our tent. To ensure the wellness of my small group because they were located at various places and they were supposed to eat. My senses arose when I saw Instik beho and Jakie Chan eating noodles at my north. To make the long scene short, I found out that there was a hot water inside the dining hall located inside the reception base. Forwarding the story, the 1st session started. Kuya Miko shared his personal conversation with God for almost the whole day and how he did come out with the exact message God wanted to tell him to preach. "God will ruin your life.." he said, but then continued saying "..because he has the best plan for you". Going on, the last worship song ended, Kuya Miko instructed us that all princesses were required to sleep at the session hall and the warriors whose tents were wasted can join. Tor and I got the beds at the pawn's room and put on the floor. Tor went out, and I prepared the beds for the warriors after the princesses thinking that Tor's platoon will be sleeping their but not. Around the hall, there came the 2 dragons that made me feel very uncomfortable. Short moments flushed, Tones was backed again into the act, we shifted positions, I grabbed another bed and chose to lie in the center of the tech's tower. Not yet contented, I placed another bed near my feet while doing that I didn't know someone's watching over me. The clock ticked down to the 58th minute of the 11th hour then the first day ended.
