Summer 2009

I'm so happy this summer because first I'm really into physical activities like sports and dancing. Secondly, I feel so productive and not wasting my time on temporary things. I'm investing my time for eternity because I'm a part of the advancement of the kingdom of God. Simultaneously, I'm spending most of my weekdays on training and practice while on weekends I'm reaching out to the next generation.

On Mondays and Wednesdays I train taekwondo in Ateneo from 6 to 8 in the morning sometimes it finishes up to 9. At around 10 or 11 I reach Edsa Central, usually I practice basketball shooting at school before I go home at midday. The hour-hand ticks to the 5th number of the clock and off I go to school to attend the Squadra workshop by Acts. I see it's always good. There's nothing complicated and special every Tuesday and Thursday, I just attend our PTC training at 1:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon. On the last weekday Friday, I attend the training in Ateneo same time and place then rushes for a basketball shooting in school. At night I proceed to Ynares center for the workshop in Squadra but this time the session focuses on stunts and skills particularly on gymnastics.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body," (1 Cor. 6:19-20)

Every Saturday I rush to market after lunch to prepare for our outreach event for the youth. The event ends at around 4:30 following that our big group for the next leaders of the youth at the ENLI bldg from 5:30 - 7pm if i'm not mistaken. Ocassionally, after the big group I bring my small group to Fully Booked at the High Street to teach and encourage them to read books. The morning of Sunday starts where I usually waste my time on unimportant nonsense stuffs like chatting and playing on the net. After sometime I give up, so I have to listen to my mommy to clean the whole house up, but always it ends up only fixing my own bed. We attend the 3pm service in the church and I end my small group at around 6 in the evening. As always we take our dinner at home or at the northern park or at Hypermarket.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." - Matthew 28:19

Those are my routine every week. I feel so glad and comfortable because there is no time of the week I'm idle. I have time for God, for my ministry and small group and at the same time i'm building my body stronger, faster, and healthier. From time to time I ocasionally blog to practice my writing and creativity skills. Like what my FIL102 teacher said (Ginoo) "When the person stops writing, the person stops thinking".

I thank God for every blessed day he's giving me.
They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness.
