Abraham obeyed the sacrifice. Jephthah ordered a sacrifice. Abraham obeyed to sacrificed his Son but it did not happen , Jephthah's sacrifice did . " Jephthah made a promise to the Lord, saying, 'If you will hand over the Ammonites to me, I will give you as a burnt offering the first thing that comes out of my house to meet me when I return from the victory. It will be the Lord's.' " Judges 11:30-31 NCV Every believer was amazed, stunned and inspired by Abraham's faith up to the point where he would sacrifice his only begotten son. Obedience, trust, and faithfulness to God were all present there. But what if the man of God arranged the agreement and was surprised by the outcome. What if the man of God made a promise with him, expecting a preferred result but was brokenhearted and depressed in the end. What if a man unexpected the unexpected. Upon studying and meditating the story again, I analyzed the situation of Jephthah and realized that his fa...

**This is a follow up blog from the previous one. But its stand alone. (Meaning it can stand :-D ajeje) Simple solutions for the final exams. (Refer to my previous post) 1st step: Ask God for the wisdom. Result: It will be given to you. Presupposing step: Believe and Not Doubt On the following chapter it says " What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? ". There is a great possibility to misinterpret or even misuse the power of scriptures. Biblical manuscripts must and ought to be read as a whole . Everyone would be happy to grasp selected verses that constitute God's promises from the bible. But without internalizing and meditating the entire context of such principles might lead to erroneous thinking or worse destruction. Asking, believing and not doubting the wisdom that comes from God must be accompanied with work. In our case (final exam), we should prepare, study for the final exam. " So also faith, ...

James says " Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. " When you face problems, worries, tests in life especially this season of examinations, consider it pure joy. Be happy about it! W0ah!? Our classmates and schoolmates always look for the end of this month, some are asking to have the time past forward on summer. But I believe, James is saying about being happy about it, and here's the reason why " because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance .". On the following verse it says " so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything ". Listen, if you want to be immature and incomplete about everything in your life. Don't PERSEVERE!! And I like this, this is very useful in this season in our life [the finals week] " If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to al...

"Those seven nations are all bigger and stronger than you are." [Unedited]

This morning I woke up and meditated on the chapters of Deuteronomy. I read the 5th up to the seventh one. The 1st 6 verses pierced into my heart and it made me stop reading it, up to the point of writing my thoughts and realizations about it. 1-2 "When God, your God, brings you into the country that you are about to enter and take over, he will clear out the superpowers that were there before you: the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. Those seven nations are all bigger and stronger than you are." (The Message Bible) When God, our God, brings us to the new life that we are about to enter, when we deny ourselves, offer everything up, and giving our entire life to God, He will surely destroy the superpowers in our lives. Because we are a new creation. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! - For once, we were being slaved to the superpowers ...

There are twelve months in a year, 4 weeks in a month, and 7 days in a week. Out of that seven days, there must be a day where you live at your most fullest potential. There must be a day that you devote in reaching your dreams and visions. It is where you shall put all your focus, energy, time, effort, money for that to be the most productive day within the week. That day must be constantly progressive each week, your level of performance should not go low, there is no room for lax or decrease in heart. It is critical because it is paralleled to your values, principles and mission in life. I've got a privileged of working with the passionate world changers in reaching out to the high school students of Benigno every Friday. They are so enthusiastic and energize in changing the world through discipleship. I was pushed and really fired up when I saw the compassion, leadership and excellence of this man on the left in making a spark in his Alma Matter. Teenagers today spend their...
