"Those seven nations are all bigger and stronger than you are." [Unedited]

This morning I woke up and meditated on the chapters of Deuteronomy. I read the 5th up to the seventh one. The 1st 6 verses pierced into my heart and it made me stop reading it, up to the point of writing my thoughts and realizations about it.

1-2 "When God, your God, brings you into the country that you are about to enter and take over, he will clear out the superpowers that were there before you: the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. Those seven nations are all bigger and stronger than you are." (The Message Bible)

When God, our God, brings us to the new life that we are about to enter, when we deny ourselves, offer everything up, and giving our entire life to God,
He will surely destroy the superpowers in our lives. Because we are a new creation.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! -

For once, we were being slaved to the superpowers in our lives. Those were addictions, inherited curses, false beliefs and teachings, carnal sins, lust, greed, pride, spiritual errors, immoralities, sexual issues, finances, and even broken and defective relationships. "Those... are all bigger and stronger than [we] are". Before they were all greater and powerful when we haven't yet given our whole life to God. We can't kill and crush them if we depend on our human capabilities alone, for they are all bigger and stronger than we.

But now, here is the power "God, your God, will turn them over to you and you will conquer them..". If we just enter into a new Life with God, he will let our enemies be defeated and we will conquer them. We are no longer subject to their authorities, we are no longer slaves , we our victorious over temptations, addictions, sexual immoralities, hatred, pride, weakness. For our past life is dead, and we are being guided and protected by the Spirit of God.
"[We]must completely destroy them, offering them up as a holy destruction to God." Woah!? I like it! We must! Destroy them!! "Don't make a treaty with them. Don't let them off in any way."

"3-4 Don't marry them: Don't give your daughters to their sons and don't take their daughters for your sons—before you know it they'd involve you in worshiping their gods, and God would explode in anger, putting a quick end to you."
God wants our entire family to be victorious and no longer slave by them. His plan and goal is not only for you to have a new life, but also to your whole family.

5 Here's what you are to do:
Tear apart their altars stone by stone,
smash their phallic pillars,
chop down their sex-and-religion Asherah groves,
set fire to their carved god-images.

For our God is a jealous God, he doesn't want for us to have any hint of other Gods in our lives, regardless of how big or small it is. He wants us to
TEAR their altars apart in our lives,
SMASH their spiritual foundations, [**Biblical foundations ka na lng tsong! 'este purpol buk' bka kc binabasa ni koya erwin e.. peacee!!]
CHOP DOWN the sexual immoralities and wrong religions that where placed in our lives.

Why?!?!
Why are we to do this??? Why??
6 Do this because you are a people set apart as holy to God, your God. God, your God, chose you out of all the people on Earth for himself as a cherished, personal treasure.
For we are the PEOPLE of GOD
we must be SET APART, be HOLY, we are HIS CHERISHED, and PERSONAL TREASURE

Wow! I like that, me?!?! a great, great, great sinner!, an undeserving boy who always dishonors his parents, makes his brother cry, who doesn't follow his word but instead doing my own way, a volunteer who always serves the kingdom but not the king..
but he considers me as his OWN, PERSONAL TREASURE..

As the song goes..
"I did nt deserve your grace
I did nt deserve your mercy
But still you took my place
Because you love me
And for you it wasn’t enough to save my soul
To set me free and make me whole
You had a plan for me a destiny for my life

You said the you delight in me
And I know your word is true
I live, I breathe, I love to worship You.."
