**Prologue: Its been quite a period of time since I wrote my last composition. I think it was during my last month in the archipelago, so all in all, around 4 months. I tried to find time to do my passion once again and made up my mind to re-ignite it on the very first weeks of 2012.
Yesterday, Jhonel Asonio Futalan posted on my wall. I didn't know if she intendedly encourage me or just part of a random thought within her message. Her simple message was about "How are you" but little did she knows , she was able to push, inspire and fuel the fire inside me. Thank you so much, Jhonel.


Limited mind, with UNLIMITED expectations.

As I browse through my news feed I saw this post "Limit your expectations, BECAUSE The World Is Full Of Disappointments." with 16 likes and an older man asking a permission to repost it.

The first thought that came into my mind was "I ought NOT to limit my expectations! because I'm the SON of the living God, the creator of ALL, the God of Isaac, David and Abraham!" Whereas, we (as Christians), should raise our expectations, lift our bars HIGHER, our STANDARDS should be HIS. It reminded me of some POWERFUL praise songs by Chris "Our God is GREATER" and "How Great is our God."

Continuing on the second phrase "BECAUSE The World Is Full Of Disappointments." I came to think of WHY this person could say these things in her life, as I considered her background, and lifestyle, the world needs GOD. God will give them a new heart, a new perspective in life, a new EYES to view that the WORLD is FULL of wonderful things if people will only allow God to take control of their lives and submit into his LORDSHIP.


People needs the TRUTH, there are a lot of great sayings, quotes, that sounds logically correct, rising and dominating the news updates (in fb) but not in accordance with the word of God. People are being perplexed and somehow influenced by these FANCY sayings, that invite them to repost and repost it again, like a domino effect, and infects the young minds faster than bacteria.

Then, I carefully thought of how could I re-educate the people who are being blinded and agreeing to this post without offending, or attacking the author, via comment, in just a short concise statement that would lead the readers to the true knowledge that comes only from our TRUE source of EXPECTATIONs. At first, I was thinking of pointing some verses (but I considered the background and demographics of the potential readers and my friendship with that person, some are skeptic about it, that's why I didn't want to be so religious that some might ignore it or "Christianized" If you may. :-D). Few arguments popped-out in my mind, until mom butt in throwing this

"Yes, only expect great things with God, BECAUSE he is faithful and true to his promises.".

P.S. I love you Mom. It proves that "Mother knows best" :-) Without her wisdom, I might be putting comments that sound illogical/untrue/unintelligent or only from my view point. **Note: When I say "I love you." I meant it and I rarely use this (for girls). This is my first time to express my love for my Mom through words via this social media. :-)


Epilogue: Hi Carl and Jasmine. :-D haha :-). You guys are awesome. I'm about to add you up Jasmine, and oh, I think already added you up, (because you are now reading this). Carl, I need to sleep now, my parents are telling me to SLEEP, I stil have work tommorrow. :-)

    Kobe Bryant started YouTube episodes called "Detail" after he retired from basketball. The channel features different NBA star players and Kobe gives his detailed analysis of every movement of the player. The idea behind the episodes is for the viewers to learn from these players especially the details that they might miss while watching them.      One of the leadership skills that I observe in the people I meet is playfulness. Happy Mother's day

     Wow. Time flew so fast. I vividly imagine during the first Christmas of pandemic era where I was hosting our church Christmas party in Zoom and her beauty stood among the crowd.  I can still recall our moments together when we all wore white and went to Fish Creek and recreated the post. I remember the times where we sang and dance to the beat of Backstreet Boys at Saskatchewan. We also drove all the way to Edmonton to buy some clothes from Uniqlo.       The first precious moment that we've had was when I offered her a free coffee one time and she accepted my treat. We then took a ride and she didn't expect suddenly we were in front of the Hyundai car dealership at 130th.  I attempted to convince her to come with me and she stood her ground.
