3 takeaways to multiverse ideology

**Spoiler alert: Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness!!!

The idea of an alternate version of reality first appeared in my life watching "Back to the future". There was a scene where Marty had to play the guitar to create a romantic scene involving his parents in the past.     He slowly disappeared whenever his parents moved away from each other. It portrays that any action that occurred in the present would affect the future. But how about an alternate version of reality simultaneously occurring all at the same time. It is just on a different realm, dimension, or producer.
At the start of the 21st century, there were three Spiderman movies on the big screen. Recently all of them appeared in just one film. Thus, the multiverse became the spotlight around the globe. More characters. More action. It is a party. For instance, this is one indication of a party.

I watched Doctor Strange 2. Here are my thoughts.

  1. Existence of the spiritual realm which comprises both light and darkness.

The film's vivid portrayal of the appearance (colors and shapes) of darkness though not absolutely accurate, it is real. I would prefer to use the term "Kingdom of light and darkness". The Gospel writers explicitly preach about the reality of the kingdom which Jesus wants to emphasize in the world

      2. The emotional aspect of humanity

Most MCU films' victories are won by a mixture of intellect and physical skills which are the by-product of careful teamwork and strategic planning. Upon careful scrutiny, the film is won through the Scarlet Witch's exposure to the emotional side of being human, being a mother.

    3. Every gift is important

In the end, America was unhappy with her powers but Doctor Strange assured the contribution of her powers for the greater good. No gift is wasted. Every talent and skill is as important as the other. No gift is superior to the others as the team achieves the common goal.

The most important realization was the scene where Wanda was trying to penetrate the barrier of Kamar Taj. One of the sorcerers got deceived by the whisper of Wanda. Watching that scene perhaps might be an example of how the god of this age slowly and creatively deceives us in the mundanity of life.

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."1 - 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

The only source to "... break the power of deception over [our] mind[s]"2 is through the light of the gospel. Will power nor positive thinking is not sufficient to serve as a shield to this darkened age we are living in. It might help but it is temporal. The only true hope is the gospel that God had revealed through his Son, Jesus Christ.
