People today are living in accordance with how the world works. Study hard, finish high school, then choose if you want to proceed with college or just figure out what you want to do next and get a full-time job. Why do we need to go to college or get a full-time job? To establish a career. Why do we need a career? To have money to survive and provide for the future if you want to have a family or just enjoy life. It does not necessarily wrong or bad with this paradigm but without hearing what the scriptures say on this matter we might have limited thinking.

"Sometimes God will ask you to do the ridiculous before he brings about the miraculous."1 Rarely, do people tell you, "Take your time", "Just contemplate", "Give your savings to the poor", "Abide in the word of God", and "Relax, and volunteer at the non-profit organization"? Oftentimes the voice of the world is in rush mode, "Go! Go! Go!", "Hoard! Hoard!", or "What's in it for me?".

When Jesus turns water into wine at the Wedding in Cana, "Jesus said to the servants, 'Fill the water jars with water'... " (John 2:7)2. They ran out of wine. The servants just obeyed Jesus even though it may perceived as ridiculous at that time. At the end of the story, Jesus performed a miracle. The crucial point of witnessing a miracle and seeing how the hand of God move is through our obedience.
