Are you in or out?

    I typed in "blind" at Google under the news tab. The first result that showed up is about "a window blind that doubles as a speaker."1 The main thing that caught my attention is "the screen is not for projection, but to display information in sync with the music being played." When I was a kid I didn't what was the main purpose of a window blind, and then I learned that it is just to block the sunlight. I said to myself that, I wouldn't prioritize buying those if I have my own home. But this new invention changed how I view window blinds. The visual impact is powerful when someone looks at it. It affects the mood and behaviour of the person. It might be beneficial for mental health too.

    In the bible, there's a man who had been born blind. For decades he didn't have any experience in recognizing and perceiving objects, material things, and people. The way Jesus healed him is radical. His methodology is, "he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes."2 Interestingly, the man didn't question Jesus' methodology he simply trusted Jesus' ways and he did not only received the miracles but witnessed it himself. Are you still going to believe God for a miracle?
    If you are trusting God to move in your midst, "you won't care about the process, procedure, method that God will use".3 If we are willing we will witness the glorious power that he alone has.

    Kobe Bryant started YouTube episodes called "Detail" after he retired from basketball. The channel features different NBA star players and Kobe gives his detailed analysis of every movement of the player. The idea behind the episodes is for the viewers to learn from these players especially the details that they might miss while watching them.      One of the leadership skills that I observe in the people I meet is playfulness. Do not underestimate this magical factor of playfulness in Tagalog, "kakulitan" If there is zero tolerance for you being "makulit" there is a tendency to interpret your sentences or words as "cold". Happy Mother's day

     Wow. Time flew so fast. I vividly imagine during the first Christmas of pandemic era where I was hosting our church Christmas party in Zoom and her beauty stood among the crowd.  I can still recall our moments together when we all wore white and went to Fish Creek and recreated the post. I remember the times where we sang and dance to the beat of Backstreet Boys at Saskatchewan. We also drove all the way to Edmonton to buy some clothes from Uniqlo.       The first precious moment that we've had was when I offered her a free coffee one time and she accepted my treat. We then took a ride and she didn't expect suddenly we were in front of the Hyundai car dealership at 130th.  I attempted to convince her to come with me and she stood her ground.
