Serendipity
I rarely thought of asking God for a parking spot while searching. Prior to her departure in my sight, she gave me a hint of parking near the food section. As I was turning left I asked God, "Give me a parking spot that is nearest to the entrance." In my peripheral vision, I saw a specific range where I was hoping a car would come out. Immediately after that thought, I saw a person walking towards the path that my car was heading.
It reminded me of the tip that I learned growing up. How to find a lead in searching for a parking spot. One of the possible ways that the general public is aware of is, to follow a person walking towards the car in the parking lot, it might be a potential. Then, I decided to fix my eyes on the person, she then turned right and opened her car. In less than 3 seconds of shifting my gaze to the person, my prayer to God was answered instantly.
Some would call it luck, or random chance but I refer to it as "God's listening to our concerns". No matter how minor or major our situations in life, God is involved. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."1 (Philippians 4:6) It is not an accident, that I've been led to that specific section of the area and on that opportune time. God is sovereign.
