Who did it?

The Holy Spirit in relation to mankind is known to be the comforter, guide, advocate, teacher, and helper just to name a few. But not everyone has it. Believing in Christ is the prerequisite. "And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit." 1 - Ephesians 1:13      Being marked with a seal means permanent. It could never easily be extinguished nor erased. It might not be evident if one doesn't continually walk and abide by its presence. It ought to be naturally manifested within an individual. "We can see the by-product of the Holy Spirit... the way you live your life". 2      The Holy Spirit is the outworking of the divine being living inside of you. It is God who empowers you to do his will and to honor him at any given time in every situation of your life. Constant asking for his presence to fill us ...

Ultimate marriage advice coming from a single* man

Image
  * There hasn't been any mention of apostle Paul having a wife in the scriptures. During or even after the time of his writing cannot be proven that he was single the whole time. Each letter he wrote had different intentions. Excluding anything about his personal life is still a possibility.      There are no explicit references regarding dating, romance, relationships, or courtship in the scriptures. Most, if not all the Christian books that talk about the subject are the contemporary application using a systematic approach and exegetical interpretation of the text such as but not limited to: Samson and Delilah, Jacob and Leah, Ruth and Boaz. But there are passages that refer to a model of what God wants in marriage. With the presumption that both sides believe in marriage. In a special kind of relationship without any goals for marriage, a distorted view of love is possible, worst open for destruction. For God is the author of love, the creator of love, he is LOVE...

How to know God's will for your day?

I wonder if Judas didn't sell Jesus, would he still be crucified? Or perhaps if there were no tensions in the society, where the religious leaders wanted to put Jesus to death, would Jesus still be on the cross? Or everything has been set and predestined? "The Roman government didn't put Jesus on the cross. He went deliberately on his own will." 1 Jesus knew the magnitude of the task given to him by the father. "I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do." 2 - John 17:4. He even didn't want to continue his assignment but he still obeyed. The will of God prevails over his life and over creation.   Every day of my life I face decisions on doing the will of God or not. At work, at school, or even when I'm driving I'm tempted not to do God's will. Jesus being fully human asked God, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." 3 - Luke 22:42      Doing the w...

Prayer. Unity. Legacy

The crucial ingredient      Recently, God manifested in the physical realm to the answer to our prayers, opening the new facility. God had already answered our prayers of finding the new facility in the eastern part of the city even months ago. What we were seeing in the physical didn't mean that nothing is happening in the spiritual realm. As soon as we started meeting together praying, and strategizing for searching the facility, God had already been working behind the scenes even before we asked for it. "... for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. " 1 - Matthew 6:8      This is something that we've done in the past and it must continue in the present and even in the future. Better together      The first few weeks we knew that God's hand was moving in our midst. There were challenges but we know that God is faithful. It was amazing to see everyone from different age groups serve and help each other. In the ushering ministr...
